TeamsOur short-term teams are comprised of volunteers drawn from across Australia. Most teams consist of around ten people. We limit this due to logistical considerations. All types of health professionals can play a valuable role in our teams, including: - Doctors
- Nurses
- Dentists
- Pharmacists
- Physiotherapists
Non-medical volunteers also play a variety of vital roles in our teams. A lot of consideration goes into forming the teams. We take into account skills and experience level, willingness to work as part of a team and most importantly the heart of the volunteer. If you feel that you would like to volunteer for a team, or would like more information, please contact us at

. ClinicsOur teams conduct general health clinics in a variety of settings. These clinics attract people from large catchment areas, with some people travelling up to 100km to reach us in the hope of getting treatment. To accomodate the large turnout that often presents at a clinic we utilise a triage system to sort patients and manage our workflow efficiently. As well as physical care, we place a high importance on providing preventative education. This is often conducted to those waiting to be seen.
