Primary Health Team in Angoram, PNG, July 2019

The health and development services we provide in remote rural areas of Zimbabwe are delivered by volunteer teams who support our goals.

Our Medical Teams

Over the last 17 years Cosmos HealthCare has sent 25 medical teams to India, Zimbabwe & Papua New Guinea. These teams are made up of health professionals who volunteer their time to give their skills sacrificially to help people in need. Our teams are well prepared, well run and focused on meeting the health needs of rural communities. We are currently sending two teams (approx. 3 weeks duration) each year to Zimbabwe to support the on-going work of our in-country partner organizations.

Medical and non-medical volunteers

Our teams comprise of approximately ten volunteers and operate on a short-term basis (usually three weeks). The nature of the care we provide means that we’re always looking for both medical and non-medical people to support our efforts – like-minded individuals with a range of skills and expertise.

  • Doctors
  • Nurses
  • Physiotherapists
  • Dentists
  • Non-medical volunteers

A lot of consideration goes into forming the teams that support our projects and clinics in Zimbabwe for a three week duration. We look for people with a range of skills and experience, but the key thing is a desire to work with others to make a difference,

If you share our values and are keen to change and save the lives of people in disadvantaged communities, we would love to hear from you.
